The team is set to install AstroTurf in February, but Blue Jays officials are hoping it’s for the last time. Rogers Centre will be undergoing huge renovations, which will include natural grass and a dirt infield that will accommodate drainage, ventilation and irrigation, the National Post reported. Officials are hoping it will be ready as early as 2018. In the meantime, the Blue Jays are working on making the AstroTurf as nice for the players as possible....

Black Lives Matter demonstrators gathered in New York and Florida on Saturday while “Back the Blue” protesters held their own rallies nearby. As Blue Lives Matter protesters demonstrated in Florida’s Orange Park, near Jacksonville, a group of Black Lives Matter supporters participated in a rally across the street.
