Yesterday at BlizzCon, Polygon had a short interview with Blizzard Co-Founder and Executive Producer Allen Adham and Production Director Dan Elggren about the strong response to Diablo Immortal. During the discussion, Adham and Elggren repeatedly stressed that Diablo Immortal is, in fact, just one of the Diablo games currently in development at Blizzard, and they hope that fans will remain patient for future Diablo announcements. Adham stated in the interview that “we have said that we have multiple Diablo teams working on multiple Diablo projects and that remains true, even after releasing [Diablo 3 for Nintendo] Switch and announcing Diablo Immortal....

Previously, World of Warcraft game director Ion Hazzikostas expressed his desire to allow cross-faction guilds in the future during an interview with Raider.io before Dragonflight’s launch. Though he was not able to give any solid details, Hazzikostas made it clear he wanted to add the option to World of Warcraft eventually. The announcement comes following a series of other updates and teaser images, many shown on the game’s Twitter page, @BloodBowl_Game. A cinematic trailer was shown at Gamescom as early as 2020. Earlier updates for Blood Bowl 3 planned for a release in 2021, and developer Cyanide Studio began beta testing that same year.
